Bead of karma for free?

Hi everybody,
don't know if it has been said before...
the SRD says the prize for a "strand of prayer beads (standard)" is 25,800 gp.
It also says that if you remove a bead of healing the prize drops by 9,000 gp.
If you remove the bead of smiting the prize drops by 16,800 gp.
So if you drop those two beads your strand of prayer beads with only a bead of karma costs exactly zero gp.
If (?) this has already been errata'd shouldn't someone edit the SRD, too?

Just erase the "removals" part of the description, and this problem goes away.

calculate it with the greater strand of prayer bead, and you'll get 20,000.

You dont make individual beads, you make a strand which contains certain beads.

So, if you make a strand, take off two beads (which then become worthless) you have something that is effectively worth nothing yes. But you cant just get them for free, and it isnt really worth 'nothing'.

some have said that the actual cost of the item is a typo (perhaps it was errata?), but at 25k it seems like a pretty decent item. Maybe the worth of each bead is actually the typo.

But in any event, while you can technically remove beads to make the item worth nothing, it isnt very useful Changing the individual bead costs to something more reasonable would work best, imo of course.
