A longtime Wizards of the Coast partner may have given fans a major hint that Wizards of the Coast will publish a full-length Dungeons & Dragons campaign this year. On Sunday, Beadle & Grimm's teased two new Dungeons & Dragons products - a new Platinum Edition boxed set available for pre-order starting in June 2026 and a new Silver Edition boxed set available for pre-order starting in March 2026. No further details were given for either products. Typically, Beadle & Grimms opens pre-orders approximately three months before their release.

While the Silver Edition could be tied to just about any kind of Dungeons & Dragons rulebook (Beadle and Grimm's has released Silver Editions for books like Fizban's Treasury of Dragons to Waterdeep: Dragon Heist), the Platinum Edition has historically reserved for full-length Dungeons & Dragons campaigns. In fact, Beadle & Grimm's has released a Platinum Edition for just about every full-length campaign published by Wizards of the Coast dating back to Baldur's Gate: Descent Into Avernus.

While it's possible that Beadle & Grimm's is deciding to release a Platinum Edition of an older campaign book, it's far more likely that it plans to release a Platinum Edition of an unreleased Dungeons & Dragons campaign book set for release in 2026. Based on the timing of the pre-orders, it's likely that this campaign book will be released sometime around September or October, which is in line when Wizards has released many of their other campaign books. We'll note that the Upcoming Releases page of Beadle's & Grimm's hints that this Platinum Edition is a new product, as they said they'll reveal more "when this newest book is announced by D&D."

Fans have wondered about the future of full-length campaigns, given that Wizards of the Coast skipped a full-length campaign book in 2025. Wizards has released a plethora of one-page mini-adventures in several books released since the release of the revised Fifth Edition rulebooks, so some fans have wondered if Wizards had opted for this shorter format as opposed to a full-length book.

Or it is a platinum edition of Strahd for the 10 year anniversary.
The copy from their Upcoming Releases schedule says that it's a new book.
"We'll announce the subject of this epic D&D Platinum Edition when this newest book is announced by D&D. We're currently expecting pre-orders in May or June. Like prior Platinum Editions, once it sells out, it's gone forever."

Probably Darksun honestly. The silver will probably be somekind of player product invovling the none Darksun UA.

That they are announcing this now suggests WotC may finally be announcing their new product line up for 2026 finally soon, its been a mystery so far.
