Every year I participate in an event called HoNoToGroABeMo (HoNoToGroABeMo.org: How Not to Grow a Beard Month) and this year is no different. I grow my beard, you sponsor it, and the money goes to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. It's pretty awesome.

This year is more awesome (and here's why I'm posting about it here) because this year you can sponsor me and, as a result, win free D&D stuff custom designed just for you by freelance game designer Matt Goetz and illustrated by his very talented wife, Roxxy Goetz.

Swing by here for all the details, but this is a pretty awesome opportunity!

Just wanted to let you know the the prize ante has been upped for people who sponsor my beard growing/cancer fighting efforts.

At $250 Matt Goetz will design a monster group for you, illustrated by his talented wife Roxxy.

At $300 Roxxy will also toss in 3 character portraits, one each for three winners.

At $400 the portraits go up to 4.

At $500 the portraits go to 5 and Matt's monster design becomes a short adventure designed just for you (also illustrated).

That's 6 possible winners and right now, only one entrant (many more sponsors but only one who has contacted me to be entered to win). Wouldn't take much of a sponsorship donation to get one of these prizes. Just saying. :-)

Wow, you guys rock! If those of you who sponsored wouldn't mind shooting me an email so I'll remember to put you in the prize pool that would be awesome! (thetomeshow AT gmail DOT com).

I thought this thread was about dwarven women....

I can't grow a beard worth crap, but hair, that I can grow. I've been donating my hair for the past years, for Locks of Love.

Good luck with your fund raising. This is definitely for a good cause.

good luck!

dropped a wee bit, but will hopefully be able to add some more after "Black Friday" - if I have anything left ;)
