The best annual on knives that I know of is Knives 2008 (Knives) by Joe Kertzman. Older issues can often be found in the discount section of B&N or off price sellers. Simply the best source of knife images and info available. I own ever copy from 1981 to the present. I am only missing the first issue from 1980.

Of course, I often just sketch my own...

The knives you are talking about were called the silver shadow and the double shadow, designed by Gil Hibben, pictures can be found on his website:

I'm not certain if they are still in production, but knowing the names should make them easier to find through ebay or craigslist.
