Beguiled

I thought I'd seen beguiled described somewhere as a condition (like shaken or frightened), but I can't find the reference at the moment and I'm under a time crunch. Anyone know where that rule might be? (It's very possibly in a 3rd party OGL book.)

Thanks,
Nell.

It's probably 3rd party, since I'm pretty sure that beguiled as a condition doesn't exist in any WotC book. It's definitely not in the core books.

I have not heard of "beguiled" as a condition. There is, of course, the Beguiler base class from the Player's Handbook II.

I'm willing to invent a condition.
Beguiled You no longer threaten anyone around you. You spend all your actions to do nothing but become adjacent to the beguiler, then follow him around. You are flat footed against the beguiler.

The Rules Compendium compiles all the conditions from the other WOTC, and beguiled is not a listed condition. And there were a few I hadn't heard of before, like "Blown Away" and "Checked" and "Dehydrated" and "Petrified". The last one always existed, but I hadn't seen rules treating it as a condition (and explaining what happens if parts are broken off before being turned back to flesh).

It the state the DM finds himself in once he realizes how many bloody Confusion spell the party Beguiler can cast each day! :p
