William Shatner in Star Treks 2 & 4

His "Kaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahn!" ranks up any all time movie scream.

Aliens: Bill Paxton as the whiny marine. ("We're in some cherry **** now!"). Maybe he just had good lines, but came off as the most interesting character just the same.

I would have said Paxton - he's brilliant - only I couldn't remember his name.

Interview with the Vampire. All the performances were great, but I thought Tom Cruise and Kirstin Dunst were especially good.

Seriously I always liked the following

Peter Cushing as Grand Moff Tarkin
Ian Mckellen as both Gandalf and Magneto
Hugh Jackman as Wolverine (he's the shortest tall guy I ever saw)
Harrisson Ford as Han Solo
the entire cast of Firefly
Ed Wasser as Mr Morden on Babylon 5
Peter Jurasik as London Mollari
Andreas Katsulas as G'Kar
and whoever did the voice acting for Canderous in the Knights of the Old Replubic video game.

Movies, eh? Okay, I'll put away my DS9 fetish...

Well, there are a lot of folk who deserve praise from the LotR films -- Aragorn, Frodo, Theoden, Gandalf, Galadriel, more. Those were some stellar performances.

I always retains a lot of love for John Lithgow in Buckaroo Banzai -- Emilio Lizzardo/Lord John Whorfin was such a great character!

I loved the fellow who played Nightcrawler in X-2.

There are probably several others, but these spring quickly to mind.

Conan the Barbarian - The oriental guy. He kicked ass.
Star Wars - Liam Neeson in Ep I. Ewan McGregor in Ep II. Christian Haydensen in Ep III. Harrison Ford in Eps IV, V, and VI.

Farscape had good acting.

Tim Curry is freaking great in everything he does, Frankinfurter (Rocky Horror), The Clown in IT, the Horned one in Legend.
