Pathfinder 1E Best APs to Buy: Curated list.

Don’t sleep on iron gods

Well it might be number 3 on list.

Buying 18 modules on one hit probably shouldn't. Kingmakers nice to have around Iron God's and Hellsrebels would be the other 2 considerations.

I'll want to run them at least first half. My players aren't really into magitech or tech though (they've turned down Eberron pitches every time).

Iron gods is more sword and sorcery with a few robots from a crashed ufo.

Bought Kingmaker and PF Bestiary 2. Buying all 3 was vetoed.

Also figured Kingmakers more likely to randomly be bought vs hells rebels.

$60 including map pack still sealed. Sourced from warehouse. I don't think its ever been used.

Set in Riddleport. Supposed to be more intrigue based. I think that was hurt by the dungeon heavy combat based format of most APs
It's set in Westcrown, not even in Varisia. It was hurt by being the first PF AP and by people expecting a "revolt against Cheliax" AP and instead got an incoherent marble garble with wvery little of that.

I quite liked it. The first installment starts with a fun casino heist that the party can foil. Of all the versions it suffers most from multiple author syndrome. Though I actually think the modules stack up pretty well as individual adventures.
I like SD. People got annoyed by the bait and switch (which I like) and by the naughty word elves (which I like). It still has problems, but I intnd to some day taking the individual chapters, trim out the fat and make my own campaign out of it.
