D&D 5E (2014) Best MultiClass character build? Why?

The events in a campaign I was in forced me to multiclass and resulted in an amazing character that caused the DM to have nightmares. Starting attributes, using the DM's dice at the group table, ended up being (in rolled order), 15, 18, 12, 18, 13, 12. Assigned as follows: STR 13, DEX 18, CON 15, INT 18, WIS 15, CHA 12.

As a Wood Elf, my DM allowed me to change the racial +2 DEX to +2 CON. The character began as a Fighter and went up to 2nd level. Then events led him to getting 1 level of Barbarian. After that, he leveled up the remaining 17 levels as a Wizard Bladesinger. Rather than taking ASIs, I took feats every chance I could. My feats were: Defensive Duelist, Skill Expert (Survival, Perception, +1 CON), War Caster, and Magic Initiate (Cleric to get Guidance, Word of Radiance, and Cure Wounds).

It depends on level and what sources are allowed. If we are looking at a 1-20 game and we allow 2014 feats then the answer for me is a character that ends play as a Dragonborn Monk 1/Fey Wanderer Ranger 13/Druid 1/Glamour Bard 5 with the Dragonfear feat and Shadow Touched with Wrathful Smite. Level 13 have a 14 Charisma and 20 Wisdom and rocking a +15 in Deception, Persuasion and Intimidation.

Glamour Bard/Fey Wanderer is really a great mix if you will have at least 7 levels of Ranger and 3 levels of Bard and it is so thematic.

Another mix I like, which is better at low level is a Tiefling Warlock/Eldritch Knight with Pact of Blade and Agonizing Green Flame Blade.

This works well to level 20 too but it really comes online at Warlock 2/Eldritch Knight 3 and it keeps getting better after that.
