D&D 5E Best Name For A “Leader” Class?

I personally hate “warlord” even more than I love the class itself.

I added Commander to the list. Not one Would pick, but it’s a solid addition.

''Marshal'. To "marshal" people around is a good part of what the class does, but it also does not represent a status position above the others in the party, like 'Captain' or 'Commander' does. Or indeed like the idea of a "Leader" does too.

If it weren't already taken I'd suggest Mastermind, it indexes the planning without quite the same load of 'in charge'. Architect also works for me. up to a point.

I like Warden. I’m surprised that I’m the only one who likes Herald.

and...disappointed at how many can’t get past one of many uses of the term Captain.
