'Herald' was one of my favorite Bard kits from the 2E Complete Bard's Handbook, which is why I wouldn't use it for a different class. It'll always be a bardic tradition to me.I like Warden. I’m surprised that I’m the only one who likes Herald.
It does help in discussion, though, that it's the name of the class in it's prior PH1 appearance.I personally hate “warlord” even more than I love the class itself.
For that matter "Leader" isn't the best term for Support classes, in general, just better than the prior "Healer" "Cleric" and "Band-Aid"Best Name For A “Leader” Class?
I think his point was "Those names are dumb for this particular class", without him actually stating out loud "Those names are dumb for this particular class."
what’s your point, Tony?
It isn’t a name, Tony. See how it isn’t on the list? For that matter "Leader" isn't the best term for a Support class, just better than the prior "Healer" "Cleric" and "Band-Aid"
Not name, term - edited for additional clarity. It isn’t a name, Tony. See how it isn’t on the list?
Not dumb, just too narrow. Might make nice sub-class names. Sentinel Warlord is more evocative than Insightful Warlord, for instance.I think his point was "Those names are dumb for this particular class", without him actually stating out loud "Those names are dumb for this particular class."![]()
Well, to be fair... you also aren't getting past the new use of the term 'warlord', so it's a street going both ways.and...disappointed at how many can’t get past one of many uses of the term Captain.
