Best 'Not' Surprised by non-suckage?

I have yet to pick up a Malhavoc or Green Ronin product that I was not pleased with. Those two companies are about the only 'no brainers' I can think of; they are the only two companies I will buy from sight unseen.

Well i would have to say no books at all.

The one book I really wanted to be awesome was races of the wild. I wanted it to be about elves and really focused on fey and legends and heroic stuff. the racial substitution levels are pretty good, Kiloran were cool (picture sucked), just I didn’t like that they are so modern. It almost disenfranchises the whole idea of fey. The book could have been soo much better but eh? The raptorians were the last nail in the coffin.

I guess what I’m saying it wasn’t races of the forest like I had hoped it would
