So when does this come out again?

Price?

Page count?

Do we have a table of contents or any other clues/hints as to the material inside yet?

From Paizo. 256 pages and due at the end of October. Looks like 39.95 MSRP and available for preorder now.

I think I will be buying! Hope this answers your questions.

Look for a preview (including a table of contents) within the next couple of weeks. The final layouts are coming through right now, and I can tell you that this is going to be a GREAT LOOKING book.

The hardest part to take (for me as well as for the audience, I imagine) is that 256 pages is simply not enough to include all of the great material that has appeared in the magazine over the course of the last 30 years.

That's why we're calling it "Volume 1."

Ah, a preview. I'll be happy once I see the table of contents.

Has the material been completely reorganized and updated as opposed to just updated to 3.5? For example, illustrations replaced and done in full color? Layout brought up to today's standards? Etc....

pesonally, I think there should be some room for "classic" illustrations as well as new ones. :) depends on the illustration and the article. Don't throw out the baby with the bathwater. ;)

As for the layout though, I agree that needs to be using current standards (though not necessarily current styles).

so, i have some random questions about the compilation:

will you be featuring any of the absolutly awesome cover art that has been on dragon over the years?

will the articles be straight re-prints, or updated material for 3.5?

what is approximatly the newest material included? are we looking at early dragon magazines only, or a wide range (up to the near past) of articles?

thanks, in advance.

I hope that they manage to avoid any overlap between this and the spell compendium coming out from Wizards latter this year. I'd rather see different stuff in each book.
