Bill has also started a series of sales at Drive Thru if you are interested in PDFs. Currently featured is A Family Affair by Carla Harker.

Is this one any good? The cover intrigued me, but I flipped through it at the FLGS and I couldn't get a feel for it.

Then you guys need to kick your distributors in their big fat butts, because they are not getting your, or Necromancers, products into the stores.

Oh we kick, when we know specifics (customer, store, distributor, that sort of thing). I've done it a couple times in Feb. Unfortunately, unless someone approaches us directly about a specific incident, we never hear about it.

A solution to this needs to be found.

I absolutely agree. The current fix for us manufacturers to get our lost sales seems to be direct/internet sales, which just takes sales away from the distributors/retailers, and makes the sales reps less likely to promote small press products. Catch-22.

If you haven't already, you should read some of today's more recent posts in that Necromancer forum thread, where this is discussed by others as well.

The only Necromancer product I have is Tome of Horrors, but it's utterly fantastic. A real shame to see these guys disappear...

How is the Wurst of Grimtooth's Traps? I always wanted to check out the originals, I don't remember seeing much discussion of Necromancer's update.

It's great fun as a read, and actually usable in your games as well (to varying degrees.)

How much of Tomb of Abysthor is underground? Does it just use the core books, or does it rely on ToH1? Does it have new crunch?

Ditto for Aberrations.

I'm considering using these with Ptolus, but a big overland wilderness trek for each really would lessen their drop-in utility for me.

90% of ToA is underground, so easy to use with Ptolus, actually adapt the two deities to Ptolus and you can use ToA as is, including a couple of days of overland travel. I don't remember Aberations clearly enough to comment on that one.
