Just a quick note:
For those interested in Ed's Realms novels a new book has been released: 'The Best of the Realms Book II: The Stories of Ed Greenwood'
This is just for people's reference.
The back states: 3 all new stories.
I took this to mean 3 new stories & the rest coming from the various 'Realms of ___' Anthologies that have come out over the years. Not so.
Of the 15 stories, only 6 come from previous novels. The rest come from such diverse cources as Dragon Magazine, WotC website, PC games & stuff cut from other novels.
I figured less than 20% of this book would be stuff I hadn't seen before. Instead 70% is stuff I hadn't read before (I have all the old snthologies).
Thus to those that skipped it (like I initially did) because you thought you read it already, reconsider.
