D&D (2024) New Year Wishes For D&D in 2025?

So what are your New Years Wishes for D&D in 2025?

For me I want them not screw up the FR setting books and for them to be everything those of us have been asking for them for years the books to be. I want Ed Greenwood and other important FR writers if possible involved. I want it to be awesome.

I want a D&D TV show.

I want a detailed explanation how Eberron and it's planes fit into the broader D&D cosmology.

I want them to decide once & for all if they will merge the D&D & MtG multiverses some how, the whole thing has been in this suspended animation if indecision for years now.

Kind of D&D related given it's a 5e setting I want but I want them to fix Theros some how.

I want Exodus TTRGP to be great.

I want more FR novels from class FR writers like Erin M. Evans, Ed Greenwood, Paul S. Kemp Elaine Cunningham, Troy Denning, Jeff Grubbs, etc...

I want no new scandals of 2025 for WotC.

I don't want Musk to buy WotC, I don't want devs at WotC to keep baiting him into it. It'd be like Lex Luther buying the Daily Planet. Just no.

I want a D&D TV show announced and I want it to be for grown up like BG3.

I want the next Trilogy of Drizzt novels announced.

I want to know who will be making BG4.

I want Exodus to be RTwP using a version of its TTRPG 5e rules variant.

I want Project Sigil to be so good it blows our minds.

I want SRDs for 2024 rules and then for EVERY other edition.

I want to know what book the updated Artificer is for. I want a brand new class in that book as well. Maybe a Psion finally. Or a new Binder or Swordmage or Warlord class. Maybe a new Divine Caster that us very different from the current ones.

The only thing I'm really looking forward to right now is the new Monster Manual, so we have a complete set of the new rules. I'll probably get the new Forgotten Realms books when they come out, but I'd just as soon have more time to get used to the new rules before they start dropping additional books of supplemental rules. I've moved one of my three current games to the 2024 rules and may transition another one over once their current campaign wraps up in a few months.

The 2024 books aren't really my jam, so I am not that interested in where it goes from here and wishing it went elsewhere is pointless, so I am going to skip that.

I want the new SRD, I'd like to see the 3e SRD and I would be interested in that Dragonlance show Joe Manganiello was working on. If that would trigger them to remake the DL AP for 5e with some improvements to make it less railroady, that would be great too ;) I also would like a great Starter Set regardless, but that is about it for D&D content.

Adjacent to D&D, I want Mike Mearls to deliver a great ruleset.

My wish for 2025 is for a book that is heavy on optional rules for 5e, and for WotC to release the 4th edition GSL into the creative commons.

I think 5e's greatest strength is it's customization and the lack of modular optional rules kind of wastes that strength.

And the 4th edition GSL being in Creative commons would allow for a much desired 4th edition type system to be developed by a third party.

I think both would make a lot of players happy and that is always a good thing.

I want the Monster Manual to be good, and have a bunch of additions and changes that are good.

I want whichever book that'll have the revised Artificer in it to come out in 2025.

I want the missing 2014 PHB subclasses and a bunch of subclasses from Xanathar or Tasha to be revised.

Probably a bunch of other things, but I don't want to have to buy the Forgotten Realms Player Guide to get some of those updates from the previous 2 points.
