Best PC class for a wyrmling dragon?

I'm thinking you should stay dragon until your size goes up to large, then go all out with fighter levels and grab every last feat chain that benefits from size and strength...
Whoa! Slow down there cowboy! ;)

If I keep on with pure dragon (which isn't a necessarily a bad idea mind you) I'll only reach large size by 16th level, so my first fighter level (and bonus figther feat) would be at 17th level. Considering that the campaign will probably end somewhere around there (or possibly earlier) becoming large would pretty much be the end point of my adventuring career. I admit it's an attractive idea, but I have to make choices that will have some payoff while I'm still able to play the character.

Oh, and creatures can't normally fly in anything heavier than light armor. I started wearing armor at the begining of my career before my natural armor bonus started to climb. I wouldn't mind loosing it now and going 'au-naturel'. :o

Well, mithral breastplate counts as light. Anyway, there isn't really a lot you can pack into 4 levels that will have a lot of punch. At least if you go all dragon, you will be large at the end, which would be a kind of interesting way to end the game. A dragon isn't -really- a dragon until it's at least large, hehehe...

This is why I posted. I'm not familiar with these classes (who can be familiar with all of the non-core stuff anymore?) but figured somebody here would be able to steer me in the right direction. Thanks! :D
If you want more info on the warblade, it was part of the preview for the book, though I think any of the 3 new bases classes would fit a gold dragon nicely.

You still can't run the class without the book, but it at least gives you some idea of the class. And it is really nice that the levels take into account your non martial adept classes (these aren't "spellcasters" they are "martial adepts", and psions don't "cast" they "manifest", and shadowcasters have "mysteries" not "spells" - I wonder how many words they can find for the same things?). So once you take a level of one of the classes, you would be considered 5th level (1 level warblade or whichever + 1/2 of wyrmling HD) to determine how powerful your maneuvers can be. You would still only have a handful of maneuvers, but they would be 3rd level or some such instead of 1st.

And I forget which style was which, but each of the 9 styles has favored weapons and at least one if not two had unarmed strike as a favored weapon (and I would count natural attacks as unarmed strikes for this purpose). You don't need to use the style's favored weapon but in the maneuvers and especially the feats, you can get a little something extra for using the style's favored weapon.

I think it's pretty fun stuff and can't wait to use it sometime myself. Again, any of the options in other posts would work, but the martial adepts are pretty multiclass friendly.
