Best Product You Got Because of ENWorld

Aside from 3E D&D in the first place (which I was very leery of buying before I found this place, the sneak peek articles in Dragon actually put me off the new edition), I'd have to say that the book that I likely would not have bought if it wasn't for this place is Beyond Countless Doorways by Malhavoc Press. I've not actually gotten any use out of it at all as yet, but it is a stunning book, stuffed full of ideas and since 3.5 will likely be the last edition of the D&D rules that I buy, I'm sure I'll use it sooner or later.

Magical Medieval Society - The first thing I bought at GenCon a few years ago after reading the reviews and the sample PDF. I plan on leaning on friends going to GenCon this year so I can have a copy of Silk Road before September.

Arcana Evolved - The only game book I've ever purchased without reading at a store or borrowing from a friend first

I'd have to say the wonderful "Dungeon Crawl" modules made by Goodman Games. Awesome stuff! (And thanks to Whizbang Dustyboots and Raven Crowking for mentioning these to me before the database crash.)

The XRP books, most notably Ecology and Culture, the best world-building book that I have seen since the 2E World Builder's Guidebook.

Honourable mention goes to FDP for Battle Box and Counter Collection Digital.

Good thread.

If you count Eric Noah's 3E news site in this, that list would be:

- D&D 3rd edition
- D&D 3.5
- True20
- Mutants and Masterminds revised 1st (and soon 2E)
- The Giants/Drow adventure series in pdf format
- Tomb of Elemental Evil in pdf
- Iron Heroes
- Book of Iron Might
- Some Dungeon Crawl Classics

Quite a bit of stuff, all from recommendations or reviews from this site.

Eberron Campaign setting for me, too. I was extremely skeptical when I first heard about it, but after reading posts here in ENWorld I bought it and absolutely loved it.

As far as fiction goes, I found out about Paul S. Kemp here on EnWorld and read all his books as fast as I could get them...I'm hooked!
