Best RPG Topics of 2005

So what has been the biggest news and RPG topics of 2005. WOTC had a late year shakeup. But I think Monte Cook earned a lot more press this year with his Arcana Evolved and Iron Heroes books.

Every week there's been speculation about 4th edition.

Spycraft seemed to hit it really big and popularize a new wave of modern gaming supplments.

I got more but I'll wait to see what others have to say.

Wasn't d20 supposed to have died five or six time by now?

d20 must have a self-rez.

Honestly, I did not detect a big and lasting buzz in d20 this year. Iron Heroes jumped up for a while, as did a few other products, but no one thing got and kept people fired up. 4th edition speculation is about the best I can come up with - sadly lame, I know.
