Then you still have 14, 16, 15 as your stats. You need two 15s and a 13.

Default array best 3 stats are 13,14,15 best you can do is 14,15,16 with resilient con.

Half Elf can get 14,16,16 onl race that can do it with default array and even then limited to charisma as one of the 16's.

Even with rolled stats Arcane and Nature might still be better as you can key everything off wisdom and still use spirit guardians. Short of rolling double 17s+ I suppose.

Yea and with resilient con as level 1 feat that would make 16 16 14.

I think the War domain cleric should be looked at more as a battle leader than as a battle champion. Sure, he can fight better than most clerics, but where he really stands out is as the inspiration to soldiers (hence the abilities that help allies).

I do agree that the mechanics are a bit disappointing--in particular they get too few extra attacks.

It more or less +10 damage and a cleave effect.

I never said I did, only that the other guy in my group (the one who plays as a War Cleric) does.
