Better Conversion Guide

The pathfinder conversion guide glosses over a lot. When I converted the Dark Sun "mul" to Pathfinder, it was more useful to simply use existing core races as a guideline than it was to waste time reading the conversion guide.

Now I'm looking at converting Dreamscarred Press's "Worldthought Medic" to Pathfinder, and I'm not even sure where to start. Does anyone have a good link to better, more explicit suggestions than the docco released by Paizo?

I can give a suggestion, but it's definitely not a quick guide.

I've don it a bit, but there isn't a quick document for it.

Get the Upper Krust CR document v5 (it's floating around on this site)

Price out the stuff you're building using that, use the numbers it gives you as a guideline when making new stuff.

PF races are priced around .5 to .7 of a CR. 3.5 races are priced .3 to .5 a CR, except the half-orc, who comes out an even 0, or maybe even slightly negative, I can't remember.

You can price out class levels using his guide too, but it's time consuming, and you need to compare at each level.

WHen pricing iterative attacks, each successive iterative attack is worth half as much as the one before it. That's somehting thats not in there, that he mentioned in a thread.
