are they incapable of triggering magic items, including potions? Or doing anything that requires a use of a skill? I dont have the books nor have I ever heard or read about the frenzied beserker....can someone enlighten me.

"When Frenzied, the character cannot use any Charisma-, Dexterity- or Intelligence-based skills (except for Intimidate), the Concentration skill, or any abilities that require patience or concentration, nor can she cast spells, drink potions, activate magic items, or read scrolls. She can use any feat she has except Combat Expertise, item creation feats, or metamagic feats." - CW pg 35.

That cover it?

Cheers!

yes. But I dont know what it does for you.

IMC a player's frenzied berserker was expelled from the group for killing a team-mate.
The player had to create a new character.

Fast forward 3 months of time in-game:
the characters have to fight a well-known FB with an axe to grind. (She's really, really angry) :]

Frenzied berserker is a stupid prestige class that forces players to attack their fellow friends after you run out of enemies to fight. You gain absurdly high strength bonusses and almost assuredly get the chance to prove to your comrades who's the biggest mf in town. It may be fun the first time you get to hack away at your fighter buddy but it gets old rather quickly and to be honest I wouldn't run around with a raving madman at my side.

Just have a bard and calm emotions handy (or some other caster with it.) Let the player buy a wand of calm emotions.

If nothing else helps, get down on the floor, then you cease to be a threat.
