Big Ol' Version O' Bull's Strength

las said:
Other than Bigby's Crushing Hand is the 9th level spell of the Strength domain. I hafent sean a domain that have more than one spell per spell level. Tell me if you sean that some do.

Like I said, I don't know much about domains, so if it should be dropped off, it's not a problem. Personally, I don't care one way or the other if divine casters get this as a domain spell. I'm biased towards arcane casters. :D

I'm a bit late, but...

I think 1 min/level is fine. Although if I were creating the spell for my own use, I would probably say 4d4 (or even 2d4+4, or something), duration 1 day. I might allow for increasing the range (from 'touch' to... is it 'near'? 5 ft +1/level not sure if that's official, but it looks 'close' enough.), if you're going to make it 9th.

You would want to keep it in Strength, though. There isn't, as far as I know, a 1 spell/domain/level restriction. It would be somewhat silly, after all. Divine spellcasters can make new spells, and making one within their granted domains only makes sense (err... isn't there actually a bonus if you do this? Haven't read the spell creation rules in a while, so I could be off on that). Regardless, it's more appropriate than Bigby's for the strength domain (yes, the best clerical Strength spell you can cast was created by and named after a wizard... But isn't that always the way?)

OK... now take this hypothetical situation...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Titan's Strength
Transmutation
Level: Brd 9, Clr 9, Sor/Wiz 9, Strength 9
Components: V, S, M/DF
Casting Time: 1 action
Range: Touch
Target: Creature touched
Duration: 1 minute/level
Saving Throw: Will negates (harmless)
Spell Resistance: Yes (harmless)

The spell grants an enhancement bonus to Strength of 5d4 points, adding the usual benefits to melee attack rolls, melee damage rolls, and other uses of the Strength modifier.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here we have Titan's Strength. Going along with the theme of the original spells, there should be something likeLoki's Cunning which does the same thing but for intelligence. he rolls a total of 12 which increases the DC of his spells by 6. This spell could be good but i think it is underpowered...

I think it would be better just to say + caster level... The spell you have written would be a good seventh level spell I think. But is it as good as Limited Wish or Simulacrum?

There isn't any reason that it HAS to be 9th level...
