I've never really thought about it. Maybe a dragon's bones are made of hollowed "dragonbone" (a material unknown in the real world) and filled with helium. Who knows?
You mean dragons aren't made of marshmallow?!?

Godzilla would have a hard time standing, let alone walking.

Huge giants bent over smashing on humanoids? They could never even get into an attacking, crouched knee position like so often portrayed.

... and an inflatable bladder that they can fill with hydrogen that was produced by a special bacteria in their stomachs...

They also claimed the hydrogen was how they breathed fire...

Something tells me that the producers of said Discovery Channel special may have seen The Flight of Dragons

But seriously, even a couple cubic yards of Hydrogen aren't going to let the typical D&D dragon fly. It's going to take Magic.
