Years ago in the dark days before 3.5, I ran a Tunnels and Trolls module called Rat on a Stick. It was a fairly standard old school style dungeon, though a few levels were fairly odd (I remember a cheese elemental, among other things). There were also rules for opening your own Rat on a Stick franchise, to sell sticked rats to other dungeon delvers and monsters.

My group had a good time with that one. I picked it up in a used bin at a book store for 50 cents. Well worth it.

1983-1984 era. I would be willing to bet 1984 (the year that I have bound into two hardcover volumes).

The Heart of Light was in issue #84, and The Ebon Stone was in issue #85. I remember them vividly, and actually got to run them for a 2nd edition AD&D group I had.

The REAL Riot? The three questions asked by the front door ("What is your name? What is your Quest? What is your favorite color?") my players knew where they came from, but at the time, I didn't!!! It was years later that I finally watched Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

As for other oddball adventures, let's PLEASE not forget Pleasure Palace of the Bthuvian Demon Whore, by Expeditious Retreat Press. :)

There's one that I can't remember where it came from, or its name. (Dragon mag, I think.) It had a chocolate stream, rock candy and weird monsters.
