Black Company: Anybody still playing?

I've been a fan of the Black Company books since 1985. Green Ronin did a fabulous job with it; it really is my favorite d20 supplement. The magic system restored my faith that d20 could do more than fire-and-forget spells only.

That being said, I am intrigued by Dark Legacies. I have Grim Tales, which I like very much, but DL must have flown below my radar, which is strange because it sounds right up my alley. I think that's why I love coming to the boards here, because I learn about games I never would have heard of otherwise. I'll definitely be picking it up at Gen Con (if Red Spires is there) or just order it from B&N. Thanks, everyone.

Sorry to hijack, but for those interested in DL, there's an active thread here: http://www.enworld.org/showthread.php?t=140523 :)

I still haven't had time to look at Black Company, but from what I've heard, it would be immensely compatible with Dark Legacies. I'll have to pick it up and see what can be yoinked for my own DL campaign. :)

Thanks for the link. I don't always have the time to scan all the topics carefully and I missed that one. BTW, I am reading the reviews too and will definitely pick up DL soon, so thanks again.

I finally just finished reading the Black Company campaign setting this week. Amazing book...easily one of my favorite 3E books. Haven't played or run it, but maybe I can get my group to give it a try..

I'll have to hunt down the Black Company RPG now. I just got done reading the whole series, mostly due to reccomendation from other ENWorlders (I don't know how this series missed my radar..oh well, read them now.) It sounds mostly like people are using the rules to strip mine for other games rather then running a BC game itself. Is Green Ronin planing on releasing any other supplements or anything for the game or is this just a one off?

Only one book, unfortunately. Apparently, it took ALOT to get the license for the single product...and part of the deal w/ Glen Cook was that there would be only a single book.
