Blade Cascade damage

Quick question: how do you roll damage for Blade Cascade?

Pertinent Blade Cascade info:
Attack: Strength vs. AC. Alternate main and off-hand weapon attacks until you miss. As soon as an attack misses, this attack ends.
Hit: 2[W] + Strength modifier damage per attack.
In most multi-attack instances, you roll the damage once and apply it to all hits. I'm assuming that since you're alternating between two weapons, you'd have to make at least two damage rolls (one for main weapon and one for off-hand weapon) if you hit at least twice. But this would seem to make Blade Cascade damage really swingy.

So, do you:
Make one damage roll and apply it to all hits?
or
Make one damage roll for each weapon and apply them to the appropriate hits (main weapon damage x odd hits, off-hand weapon damage x even hits)?
or
Make separate damage rolls for each hit?

One damage roll per attack. The only time you make one damage roll for multiple attacks is for area attacks (blasts and bursts and the like), or if a power specifically says "make a single damage roll." Blade Cascade is a series of individual attacks, so each attack gets its own damage roll.
