Blade the Series

Don't get me wrong, she has a great behind. :) It's just that the "Blade is little more than a cameo in his own series" is a bit too much like the godawful Blade: Trinity (supposedly, characters from that film are going to appear on the series, too).

Overall, this show reminds me of that old Kindred series. Anyone else remember that?

BTW, like I said, I've given up on the show, but I thought I heard them mention that the girl could cure herself with that serum. Is that true? If so, why kill vamps instead of curing them?

Hey, with the actor they chose, I have no problems with him being little more than a cameo. Have I said that before? ;)

Anyway, posted mainly to answer your question. The serum works to keep the vampires off blood, but only before they have feasted on flesh. So for Krista, it worked because she only fed a little, but it didn't work on her mother cause her mother ate too many people first.

I gave up after a couple of episodes. I wanted to see Blade kicking ass, not Vampire Soap Opera...

EDIT: According to Wikipedia, more than have the viewers lost interest, too:

I wouldn't have minded the soap opera approach if the acting were better, but considering the quality of the writing and acting...Blade kicking ass might have been the best option. Too bad they didn't go that way.

Keeping this 'Blade' in a cameo role is a good thing. The problem is that he is not playing the character, he is trying to be Wesley playing Blade.

Yes, a lot like Kindred.

The serum may work on you but may be rejected if you killed too much and have let go of your humanity. It is not a sure fire cure. This week they addressed that by Kista turning her mom to try and cure her from cancer and then use the serum on her.

The show has it moments.
