What are the special effects that magic weapon and bless weapon have when the affected weapond is in the hand of a god cleric or a paladin??

Here's an example of what blessed weapons can do.

Regeneration (Ex): Quasits take normal damage from acid, and from holy and blessed weapons.


Basically, certain creatures are vulnerable to blessed weapons.

Correct, a blessed weapon can affect a few creatures like in the example above. I read once that one of the designers (Monte, Skip, or Sean) said that although a blessed weapon has just a few creatures it can affect, the mechanic is in place for future use, whether by WotC products, d20 products, or home-brew.
