zombie (ZOM-bee): n. 1. According to voodoo belief, a supernatural power that can enter into and reanimate a corpse. 2. A corpse revived in this way. 3. One who looks or behaves like an automaton. 4. Target practice.

Our professionals at the National Center for Reanimation Prevention and Control (NCRPC) have done all the hard work so you don't have to - chopping, hacking, chainsawing, and blasting the bloody gibbets off of the shambling undead, all to make your life a little easier. If you've got a case of the zombie blues, this book's the cure.

hrm, ignore me. I thought this was one of your free products. I didnt realize it was actually an RPGO product.
Obivously you have permission. Sorry.

With that in mind, feel free to join the d20 modern chat later today!

Yes the title was actually my most significant contribution to the product (though I rode shotgun on the mechanics) :)

I liked this book on first sight and would suggest that anyone who wants a little Bill Campbell undead-shotgun fun in their games will love this book.

Congrats Michael

Chuck

So, i take it the book is an "edited" version of the free Evil Dead Supplement that mike originally wrote for his personal site?

It's actually contains rules from my other freebies, Evil Dead, The Thing, and Friday the 13th supplements being three of them. All of that has been edited and changed of course to be more generically useful for killing zombies, along with lots of unique material.

This is NOT just an "edited version" of the Evil Dead supplement. It's substantially different 'cause 1) I don't have the rights to Evil Dead and 2) it encompasses all the other zombie movies that do not involve demonic possession.

I used "The Zombie Survival Guide" and "The Zombie Movie Encyclopedia" as inspiration too.

So what are you waiting for? Get down with the sickness today!

I just want to add that working with Chuck and Chris is fantastic. I'm very excited to be parterning with RPGObjects and we're already talking about future plans for other books.

Here's hoping Blood and Brains does well enough to see print. :)

I agree, working with these 2 is quite fun. So, do you need any NPCs for upcoming work? :p

Bruce Campbell, I think you mean.

(The guy from the Evil Dead/Army of Darkness movies. And of course, Brisco County Jr and Bubba-Ho-Tep. And The Prince of Thieves from Hercules/Xena. )

I bought this today and it's really an enjoyable read. The "Stoner" starting occupation and the Virgin feat alone were worth the price of admission. :)

Bravo - Well done!
