Bloodstorm blade question and can I fit an entire class into a wand?

The Returning Attacks class feature says that when you use it, you have to use up a readied Iron Heart Strike. Does that mean in order to do each attack you have to use up an Iron Heart Strike? If not, when and why does it stop using up Iron Heart Strikes?

I'm playing an Artificer who plans on taking a 4 level dip into Bloodstorm Blade for its throwing ability. My friend pointed out that there's a spell that does virtually the same thing called Blood Wind in the Spell Compendium. It's a 1st level wizard spell that seems to emulate the Thunderous Throw class feature in every detail except of course the wand won't work in an antimagic field. Myabe I should just make a wand of bloodstorm blade, I mean Blood Wind, and just use that. Unless someone else can point out any other differences.

I posted a bit too quickly from the shock of seeing it. The spell works only with unarmed strikes and natural weapons, which I could still use because I have the Warforged natural slam attack. A substitute would be Whirling Blade from Complete Arcane. Which attacks all foes in a 60' line only once.

Anyone else know of a spell that emulates this class even closer?
