[Bo9S] Time stands still + extra attacks

The feat was written before it was possible to take two full attacks, right? So when it was written, you could get one full attack in one round. The two were equated as the same thing when the book was written, since at the time there was no way to get more than one full attack. Do you see what I mean?

It's a matter of Rules As Written versus Rules As Intended.

This is just the uninteded side effect of how they wrote TWF. But the RAW is the RAW, right?

As far as I can tell, the intention of the rules is that Haste grants an extra attack on a full attack action, and TWF grants an extra attack in a round.

I'm basing my reading of what was intended on what they wrote.

As an analogy, I offer Flaming Sphere.

"It moves 30 feet per round." and "The sphere moves as long as you actively direct it (a move action for you)."

So with a move action, I can get the sphere to move 30 feet. If I use two move actions in one round, can I get the sphere to move 60 feet?

Discussion on the latter issue can usually go on without end. Discussion on the former can at least establish what the rules state.

Time stands still is pretty straightforward. Action required is 1 FRA.

As part of this maneuver, you can use a full attack action two times in succession. Take your first full attack as normal. Once you have resolved these attacks, you can then take a second full attack action. You must resolve these actions separately. You cannot combine the attacks provided by both actions as you wish. Instead, you must take them separately and in order as normal for a full attack.

Oh, and for Hyp, check out the Iron Heart legacy sword:

Kamate is a bastard sword of simple, but not crude, construction. Its hilt and pommel are unadorned with decoration or filigree of any sort, and neither rune nor image mars its perfectly smooth, razor-sharp blade.

...

HISTORY

Hobgoblins claim that Kamate (which means "it is death" in Goblin) was the first sword ever created. ...
