Body Adjustment?

One power point is very cheap for a psion or psychic warrior. If one point = 4.5 hit points on avg, then you've got a real beast of a melee machine.

It's even cheaper when the psion/psychic warrior has Trigger Power: Lesser Body Adjustment! With a natural strength of 18 and a Girdle of Giant Strength +6, the ability check DC comes down to 6. (Even without the Girdle, what psychic warrior does NOT take Animal Affinity?)

Yes, with the new rules on Vigor, and if they can also Trigger one of the Body Adjustment powers, Psi-Warriors can outdo Barbarians when it comes to taking damage. I don't think it's terribly unbalancing. So he's better at surviving. What kind of impact would this have on your game?

p.s. Archer is right. Power points from each class are pooled.

There are no separate pools of PSPs. Read the section on multiclass psion/pw.

Ahh yes, you are correct. I misread the part where it said "however, powers discovered for each class must be tracked seperately..." I thought it meant power points, not powers. My bad dawg =P

What's worse is that Animal Affinity stacks with the Girdle! So the DC can potentially go down to 4.

Animal Affinity giving "special" bonuses is an error according to the PsiH author. However, he hasn't put it into the errata yet. In the interests of balance, and at the advice of the author, they should be enhancement bonuses, and shouldn't stack.

If you just take a level to pick up Lesser Body Adjustment, you won't have many Psi points to work with. If you use them all, you're a sitting duck for Psi attacks.

Really? The newest FAQ even says they stack. Grrr...

Personally, I like the idea of psionic and magical effects stacking, but we use the "psionics are different" variant so...
