BoEF... no splash?

I also pre-ordered it from FRP, and got an e-mail notifiying me it had been shipped on Monday.

On Tuesday, I got an e-mail from Valar reminding me it had been released. I assume these were targeted at people who had registered at the Valar website.

I'm hoping this arrives either Wednesday or Friday-Saturday so I'll have something to read over the weekend.

First product I've seen have a whole thread devoted to it no getting a reaction upon release.

I haven't received any of my three copies yet...hopefully by early next week.

The BoEF is the November best seller at FRP Games (www.frpgames.com) and tops the list of Top Selling Items at Sci-Fi Genre (www.scifigenre.com).

LOL. I guarantee that it won't hold that title for long. Granted, it's OGL now rather than D20, but I don't think it'll even hold the OGL most hated book crown for very long.

Some other company will release a controversial product, something like, "The D20 Guide to Neverland." People on here and other boards will announce it will ruin gaming, hurt people, basically think of the end of Ghostbusters with the Stay Puft marshie guy and you have what they believe will happen.
