So, even though the PLAYERS were suspicious of Rachel Lang's "blessing," they all decided it was in character for them to take it. Obviously it does not affect Amielle. But is everyone else basically required to die? Can the bond be removed like other curses (even though we only have a couple uses of such powers).

I think dispel magic works, since it's not even really a curse per se. And there's always the option of just hurling the witch off the mountain.

In my game, Harkover Lee managed to dispel both the bonds on the party and the city with a single dispel magic (and two great ability checks) on the red contessa.

Huh. Interesting. I would've assumed that dispel magic wouldn't work since the book goes out of its way to say that even destroying the cauldron doesn't work. But this is a happy outcome!
