Bones or Angel pairs up with a strong female lead...again

It's really loosely based on Kathleen Reich's books --- she's a forensic anthropologist who writes crime fiction on the side. I say 'loosely' because, well, this is TV.

Interesting topic. Wish the show had been as interesting. As a fellow forensic anthropologist and writer, I like to see how these things develop.

Still... It's no Holmes and Yo-Yo.

I liked it, with the understanding that I was watching a pilot and that it was trying too hard to show what it was going to be like rather than just being the way it was.

So, awkwardness other folks have already mentioned aside, I'll keep watching it and give it time to grow.

(Personally: Liked the "I don't know what that means" bits, which were used, if I recall correctly, three times. Didn't like the flashing bit in the airline. Am skeptical of their ability to do "CSI, but only about skeletons" each week, but am willing to play along for as long as they can.)

I finally got to watch it tonight. Not bad, for an introduction. Another on the list of "things worth giving a couple of episodes".

One selling point, for me, is that while it still a cop crime drama, the science errors were not, imho, nearly as egregious as is sometimes seen.
