Question: if I don't already have Legions of Hell and Armies of the Abyss, would this book replace them or would you recommend getting all three books?

Just a quick question- how many new critters were added to the demons and devils from LoH and AotA? I knew both were being expanded, but since a lot of the illos changed, I wasn't sure exactly how many were new. Also, is the Thaumaturgist included, along with the spells given in LoH and AotA?

I don't have the book here with me to count, but I'd say 7-8 new demons, and 4-5 new devils sounds about right. The entire Thaumaturgist class, complete with spells, is included, as is the Unholy Warrior from The Avatar's Handbook.

I'm not entirely sure how I like the daemons of Sin idea vs. standard yugoloths, but I'm sure I can figure out how to use them somehow (brainstorm for Great Wheel: move them to Carceri. Already has 7 layers, and it is a plane of punishment).

Honestly, I don't know. I was more concentrated on reading the parts that were all new than looking for updates to the older books.

I assume that you mean the Unholy Warrior from The Unholy Warrior's Handbook?

Oh, there's more new demons than that. I felt Armies was most in need of beefing up. Quick count shows about 20 new demons and 8 or so new devils.

As for the thaumaturge, the class was substantially revised.
