Book on Confucian philosophy? Suggestions?

I have a relative in prison who is looking for some philosophical reading material. He asked for a book on Confucius, or Confucianism in general. Does anyone have any suggestions for a good primer? Bear in mind, he's got maybe a high school reading level, so I'm not going to swing by my college's bookstore and grab him a study text. I figure I should get something oriented for a layman, but which goes into depth.

I haven't read it myself, but I've heard good things about this one:

[ame=http://www.amazon.com/Introduction-Confucianism-Religion/dp/0521644305]Amazon.com: An Introduction to Confucianism (Introduction to Religion)…[/ame]

In addition, he might check out the facility's library on the off chance that they may have it or something like it- they tend to have a few books on religion.

My favorite confucian text is actually neo-Confucian, by Chu Hsi, "Reflections on things at Hand." But you should definitely pick up some secondary material too.

I can actually see where Confucianism would be a good resource for someone in prison, which must be a very chaotic place. The orderliness of the confucian worldview may provide some solace.
