I don't buy all that often, and my last purchase was a toss-up between Deities and Demigods and Manual of the Planes. I chose Deities and Demigods, and I have have been most pleased with it. Damn good book, I highly recommend it. Great for campaign building.
My next purchase will be Manual of the Planes, for much the same reason.

As someone who does a lot of reviews, I get to see a lot of stuff. I try to use it all to see how it fits with my own style and friends styles. For me, magic is usually a cool thing to play with an publishers think the same thing as we've seen a host of magic style books. Now if only they could do something with the cleric...

All core books of course.
Books that have seen some recent use:
Book of Eldrich Might I & II
Minions (I guess I'm one of the few people who enjoyed this wierd monster collection.)
KoK Player's Guide: Fantastic resource.
Secret College of Necromancy: Best book on the subject in my opinion.
There are a ton of others that I steal a PrC, Feat, or Spell from, but those are ones that come up frequently.

I like quality when I buy books. Hard-bound, glossy paper, nice art. So the books I like the most are:
FRCS
Call of Cthulhu (d20)
Manual of the Planes
Psionics Handbook
(ELH hasn't reached Sweden yet)
The only softcover books I like are:
Magic of Faerûn, and Lords of Darkness. (Don't have Silver Marches yet)
Unfortunately, the D&Dg, and F&P didn't do too much for me, would have prefered more info about the churches and organizations.
The Core rule-books are good too, but that goes without saying.
And most (not all) of my D20 non-WotC purchases have been disappointments, unfortunately. Both in in-game usefulness, and in quality. Sure there are some inspiring thoughts there, but somehow...
