Xavier considers the situation and, once the man leaves the inn, he gets up and goes to the innkeeper. "Are you okay? Could you explain to me what that was about?"

The innkeeper hesitate a moment. "Well... we have trouble with teh goblins since a year now. At start, they were attacking the travellers for there money or raiding some farm and plunder the barns. They susually did that once a month, so we got use to that. No one got hurt. We ask the church of Sorpingal to come, but they couldn't come at that moment, so it got like a statu quo in this region. Goblins were living on our back, but we weren't starving. Since a month, a family have been killed by the goblins, there body have been found in there barn. And today, it is Renald. He is the one responsible of the two mills we have, one on the west, and one on the east. When he was coming back from the eastern mill, he got attack, and his body have been found, and the floor had been taken. The goblin are becoming more aggressive, and we don't know why. People are starting to stay in the house, some are thinking of leaving... and with the erchant who has stop to travel to Gaile since teh start of teh war, the things have worsen. I fear that in less than a year, if nothing is made, this village will dissapear."

Xavier nods, "We encountered those goblins on our way here, and we scared them away." He looks back at his group, then at the innkeeper. "We are on a trip, but maybe we could stop for long enough to help out, though we do not have a lot of supplies."

He goes back to the table and sits with Snow and Jade, "They are having troubles with the same goblins we encountered. Would you be willing to help? I'm not sure how quickly we have to get out before the army might get to this area."

"Are you sure?" asks the Innkeeper. "It is not frequent to see travelers caring for our troubles. I'll put your meal and night on the bill, but you won't have to pay it if you really do it. Getting rid of them could only good for my business." The Innkeeper leave your company and return to his kitchen.

"Armies are slow to moves, and they need to secure teh lands they take... and that's at the condition they want ot move up to here. I think we are now safe. If you are willing to help, I can only agree." tells Snow.

"They killed many persons, we must better be cautious if we don't want to be the next." tells Jade.

"Well, Crian would want me to help those in need." He thinks to himself. "Can we do it with the supplies we have? What else do we need? Just rations?"

"We don't know nothing about them." tells Jade.

"We know they are at least five goblins and two large wolfs, not counting the sounds we heard in the forest." replies

"That seems a lot."

"In a hunt, you don't try to take down all the herd in one attempt, you take them one at a time, and you try to isolate him. We don't need to attack them all at once. I think we have what we need. I'll ask the spirits to guide us. What do you think, Knight? You are the one with more military experience."

[SBLOCK=OOC]I've started to flesh out Jade and Snow in the RG, and you'll be able top consult there stats, as they will answers to your qeustions about there abilities. That will allow you to make up some plan as you wish. I'll finish them next week, as I am leaving for the week-end tonight.[/SBLOCK]

"It just seems odd," Xavier shakes his head, "To go back and fight them after they gave us passage. Isolating individual goblins is certainly the way to kill them--and I have faith we probably could--but maybe there's a better solution." He looks at Jade, "You have a good way with people and with words. Do you think we could come to a compromise with them?"

"Sure, I can try, but I am not sure it would work. I am more use with... civilized people. The goblins have a tendency to be coward and treacherous and they don't have the same values and culture than us." answers Jade.

"It's true that avoiding a fight can be the best way to handle things, but if the Inkeeper told the truth, they are killers, so don't be fooled either." adds Snow.

"Those are good points. The sword it is." He looks toward the bar, "We need to rest tonight, I think. The morning will be better."

Jade and Snow both agree with you and after finish you meals, you go to your room and take some sleep. The day after, you awake and go back to teh common room. Jade is already there, but Snow seems to be still in his room.

"Hi Xavier. How are you, had a good night?" she tells you with a smiles. "I've already ask the innkeeper to prepare us three meals and a few fresh ration for today."

[SBLOCK=OOC]If you want, you might have suggested Snow to haev some spell with him. So you can give me some suggestion for his spell list in the day. I'll fill the holes or might change a few of them, considering Snow wisdom.[/SBLOCK]
