Boston EN World game day on Saturday, January 29th

Sounds like it was a good time, I'm sorry we missed it.

I much would have preferred that to standing in 3 feet of snow waiting for my box-spring to be lowered down the back porch and then bringing it around the front of the house to hoist it up to the 2nd floor porch.

Another highlight was the 32'' tv I bought in 1999 which had the 3 H's....HUGE, HEAVY, and no HANDHOLDS. Yikes.

I really wish we could have gone instead and just hired movers ("ok guys, get all this to the 2nd floor, we'll be back.")

Hopefully we can go to the next one!

I'm feeling a little less brain-fuzzy now so I'd like to get into the thank you line.

Thanks to Umbran for running a very fun game with great characters. The group seemed to gel very well. Not to mention the great system.

And thanks to my afternoon group for having so much fun. I was worried that the game wouldn't have the right feeling or the D&D aspect wouldn't work right. I hope it worked for you guys too.

And always a Thank you to Pkitty and KidC for putting this together in your wonderful house.

Oh and if Alex or James didn't get to you at the gameday, we will be holding our own Albany Gameday April 2nd. I'll put up a thread in a month or so.

I had a blast playing 'I'm not Crazy' Larry in the Zombie game. All flesh must burn!

And as the atomic gun-toting, randomly wandering accented texan in the Mutants and Masterminds. Alas, I couldn't make a damage resistance roll to um, save my life. Didn't die, but was out for most of the last battle. Still, was fun!

I'm glad my cookies were all eaten.

For next game day I'll have to work on the one shot idea I have for 7th sea - swashbuckling goodness! :)

Thanks again to the host & hostess - and to my GMs Ao and Qualidar!

First, thanks to PirateCat for hosting.
I had an awesome time, and it was cool to meet loads of new people.

Thanks to Umbran for running a very fun game with great characters. The group seemed to gel very well. Not to mention the great system.

Agreed: it's unfortunate that everyone lives so far apart, because I would have liked to have seen what exploits that group would have had in the future.... And being KO'ed 5 times in one session? Has to be a personal record. :o

And Piratecats's "Eversink" campaign was amazingly cool, as well.
I think that the infiltration of the Clearwater estate was one of the best-played scenarios I've been in in quite some time. :D

AFAIK, Random-Assassin and I, and possiblly a handful of others, are interested in the Albany Gameday event.

Any good quotes to share?

Well.. one of my favorite quotes was Fluffaderm (who was keeping a list) to Zog (who was making the list long) in reference to all of his quotes. "I can't write that fast!"

The group is at the local fast food restaurant just as the zombies are rising. The cheerleader goes into the bathroom to purge any possible zombie meat from her system.
Zombie Master: "There is a rattling coming from over there. It sounds like someone is having problems with the lock on one of the stools........Umm.. I meant stalls."

The group was holed up at Crazy Larry's, where the nerd found larry's porn collection.
Kidcthulhu (playing the cheerleader, Britteny): "Those are totally fake!"
Gospog (playing the nerd, Jasper Poindexter the third): [Happy grin on his face] "Yeeaaahh."

While at the hospital, they are trying to save a nurse from zombies.
Zog (playing Crazy Larry): "Run towards us! We have Guns!"

The group is at the slaughterhouse and are talking to the caretaker, a very old man named Alfred.
Fluffaderm (playing the tough chick, Vasquez): "Look! There is a horde of zombies outside!"
Alfred: [vacant smile] "Would they like some tea?"

Just what I remember (correctly, i hope).
