Bought Four-Color to Fantasy last week, anyone else using it?

I bought Four-Color to Fantasy last week as a pdf from RPGNow last week and I'm really enjoying it. It does exactly what I want, injects some super-hero flavor into my existing D&D campaign without having to try to shoehorn a modern d20 supers game into my medieval/renaissance world.

I've been playing around with it a little, mostly converting some of my favorite Marvel characters, the New Mutants, into a fantasy milieu and I've found the rules to be very flexible and easy to use. I've even done some work converting a few things so that I can use them in PCGen.

Anyways, I was wondering if anyone else is using this supplement and how it has worked in their campaigns. I've been doing some searching around the web and I've found few resources for me to borrow/get inspiration from.

Anyone have any links to point me at or any stories to share?

I have yet to use it in a game, but its definitely stirring up my creative juices. I intend to build some villains with the rules that should drive my players crazy.

I have been using the Hero class with some of the powers from Deeds Not Words. I like both of the games a lot, and I am having great success in the Dark*Matter D20 Modern game I am playing. I plan on merging the two games into one that I can continue to play because I like the way many of the powers are developed in both RPGs.

haven't run anything in years hence I haven't gotten to use the first edition of 4C2F taht I bought a coupla months after it came out. Think it was shortly before M&M came out. I do LOVE how the system works tho and am seriously tempted to include it in the AU game I'm about to start, but I think there's enough newness in Monte's world as is. Now if i run a standard D&D game, I have a great idea for a game with the d20 Mecha and Gamma World rules from Polyhedron, with the 4C2F layered on top as well.

Magic powered mechs, spells, mutations, super powers and greatswords. works for me.

It is perfect for what you are using it for. 4ctf is well balanced against the normal D&D standards, and can give great 'flavor abilities' to the players and NPCs.

A paladin who has the ability to deal extra holy damage with every hit that only effects 'evil' creatures.

A cleric that heals people with just his touch.

A thief that can actually walk the shadows to run from place to place.

A villain who uses 'blackfire' to drain his enemies of life energy for his own horrible goals.

It's all yummy gaming goodness.

It's my favorite game supplement, bar none-- but I have trouble using it as a player.

I'm using it for my d20 Modern superheroes game, though. Should be starting soon.
