I'm inclined to agree with U_K.

I've read his material and his rationale and it makes sense, particularly for many Outsiders, Dragons, and Undead. It certainly seems far more accurate for anything with a CR over 20 and it even has some nifty ideas for PCs.

I would be more than happy to email you my reworking of CR/EL (its 6 pages of an 8 page pdf) though I don't see any email address for you in your user options?

I'm not saying your system is wrong (not saying it's right either ). It's just in every post you make, you speak as if your CR is the official CR, and it's not, and invariably one or two posts later, someone posts saying "it is not! Official book such and such says the CR is this."

It would be like me saying "rangers aren't frontloaded" and forgetting to append that I am talking about my house rules version of the ranger. Sure, lots of people would agree that the official ranger is front loaded and mine isn't, but it doesn't change the fact that mine isn't the official one.

I wouldn't ask anyone to make such a statement without seeing the work...

...just as I wouldn't make such grandiose claims unless I could categorically prove the official rules were flawed.

CRs are always going to be in some part subjective I don't claim my system is perfect, but it is certainly less wrong.
