BoVD d20 crossovers!

First Post
With all this fervor over the upcoming BoVD, I've really been thinking of the wonderful oppurtunities that it could present for not only my D&D game, but also other d20 system games! Since all d20 system games are based on very similar mechanics BoVD should be easy to encorporate into most d20 games without a problem. Some examples that come to mind:

1. Star Wars: Now instead of having an evil sith lord, you can have an evil NECROPHILIAC sith lord! :D

2. Swashbuckling Adventures (Alderac): Evil demonic pirates, sexually deviant swashbucklers! Oooh the possibilities!

3. Malls and Morons: (EnWorld's own hosted campaign) Think about it! Evil demonic goths, the creepy guys that hang around the mall just got creepier. Teenagers and mall rats now can commit truly disgusting and vile acts. And the TeenWitch prestige class can now be upgraded to the SATANIC TeenWitch (like those teenwitches in the Jack Chick comics!)

I'm sticking with an old standby for evil, Ravenloft and their upcoming release of Champions of Darkness. I'm only getting BoVD for the Demon Princes and Arch Devils. :)

maybe you can, but i'm pretty sure that there aren't going to be rules for having sex with corpses in the BoVD, no matter what some people on this board think...

I don't think rules for such would even be needed would they? I mean, what kind of rules could you have for copulating with a corpse?

Make a Fort save the first time, to see if you can stomach it. Make an attack roll against AC 10 to see....well, you get the point.

exactly...

i'm not sure where this whole rules for necrophilia and rape and disembowlment idea came from, but some people seem to obsessed with it...

I just wonder about the whole point of the BoVD. It's not like the concepts presented within didn't exist before it came out.

Do we really need game mechanics for sexual assault?

Anyway... stats on archdevils and demon princes will be cool. But I hope they don't get the shaft like the gods in D&DG did.

Well, Skip said they took a titan, advanced it, and based the gods off of that to derive the stats. Guess what the arch-devils and demons will based off of?

Nope....

Just obsessed with different ways of annoying people who think we're obsessed with it.

SO MUCH FUN :D

i have this sneaking suspicion, based on what i know of the book from Monte and other stuff, that there will not be game mechanics for sexual assult in the book.

but there will be mechanics for things like selling ones soul to a demon. which we do need game mechanics for. its a staple of fantesy and myth and there's no reason to do it in the game right now...
