Boxed Set for Good Maps?

A long time ago, back when I DM'd for 2e in high school, I used a pretty sweet glossy poster map of the Forgotten Realms (that I got from the Boxed Set) as the map for my own homebrew world. Sure, everyone knew it was the Forgotten Realms map, but I hacked it up, adding new cities, making some old ones ruins, changing some roads, etc. No big deal. It was really just something to have on the table to add atmosphere (we were more dungeon oriented). I think that box set also had a clear plastic sheet that could be used to consistently measure overland distances (helped us gauge random encounter frequency between dungeons and towns) and a few city maps (used for atmostphere and the occasional chase through the streets). Has anyone got any recommendations for other box sets, in or out of print, that have great maps and map tools that I could use for my own world?

My first impulse was also the original FR boxed set, but off the top of my head, the City of Greyhawk has good postermaps of the local environs and the city itself. The first Waterdeep boxed set (with Khelben Blackstaff riding a Ki-Rin on the cover) also had some good city maps.

The Wilderlands of High Fantasy has an incredible map collection.

The Tasslehoff's Map Pouch collections are pretty nice too, but they are all sized 8 1/2 x 11.

Gazetteer of the Known Realms (DCC#35) from Goodman Games has some great poster maps. They have 4 world maps, and a player's map. I recommend having them laminated, because while they are awesome, they will tear if you unfold them enough times.
