[BR/M&M] Will I miss multiple attacks?

First Post
I have not played M&M or any d20 game that did not have multiple attacks for characters with a high BAB.

My question for those that have that experience. Am I going to miss multiple attacks? Are my fighter type PCs going to be frustrated that they no longer had a 2nd chance to hit a particularly tough foe.

Would it be incredibly unbalanced to add multiple attacks back in?
Am I going to get headaches putting the 3E melee options I enjoy back into combat?

You won't miss 'em. Multiple attacks are in fact far more powerful in those systems, where each blow has a chance of seriously affecting a foe (unlike a hit point system).

When the rhy-cat warrior PC in my game gets to 6th level and fights for a bit, I'll let you know. :) My gut feeling is that it won't be missed - combat has been pretty smooth and fast.

Nope, in fact when I ran a one shot of the game with 8th level characters no one noticed there were no multiple attacks until we were done and I asked them questions on what they liked and didn't like. Combat was so smooth and fast it was great.

As far as M&M goes, you won't miss it. Including it would horribly unbalance the game, I think, because as jon said, each hit has a chance of totally clobbering an enemy.

Playing with a PL 11 Cyborg, from TeenTitans, built as a pretty good powerhouse ... I wouldn't want that guy hitting more than once a round. He could pump his attack DCs up into the 30s with power attack and whatnot. That was usually enough to clobber any mook, any henchman, and most major foes not built for going toe to toe with him.

I don't know how it would be in Blue Rose, but I imagine it won't be overly missed. I think iterative attacks are a pain in the kiester, really. Everybody's dancing around trying to figure out how they can get into position to not move for a round or two and still attack so they can whip off those extra attacks. Always seemed odd somebody would open themselves up to attack to, say, get into a position that is only tactically advantageous to them in that they'll be able to take a full attack the next round.

Or worse, the combat'd devolve into sitting around and trading full attacks.
