Tenser's Floating Disk

So, you can now sit on it yourself (it carrys anything you put on it), and moves your base speed as a move action. Any reason why you can't use this to move over traps? Pools of acid or lava? It normally floats a foot off the ground, but it can also keep up with you wherever you go (so if you were flying, presumably it would float well above that 1 foot level from the ground), which may mean it is capable of flying if you direct it to with a move action.

It's also a force object, which I think means it can block a doorway.

If you are an elf (speed 7) with the +5' speed feat, and you run (+2 speed) you could be moving the slower character in your party behind you at a speed of 10.

One of my player's is playing a Gnome Wizard who uses Tenser's Floating Disc like his own personal hovercar. He can't fly with it (jn that he has no fly speed- we treat it more like the 3.5 ability Scorn Earth), but he summons it each morning and floats around on it all day long, floating over traps and spiked floors, and the like.

We've ruled that whenever something would knock him prone, it knocks him off the disc and he must remount it as a move action, but other than that it's been fine. I thought it was a pretty cool use of it.

As mentioned, Leomund's Chest has no size limit on the chest. That's why I like to call it "Leomund's Summonable Fortress". Build yourself a huge heavily fortified chest complete with arrow slits and weaponry like ballistas, then summon it up whenever you feel like it.

Drawmij's Instant Summons can be made somewhat more useful by having the weapon you summon with it be a large hollow staff filled with Residuum. Ever lose all your stuff, including ritual components? You can still summon your staff and have enough Residuum for say, a Linked Portal.

And this isn't really a trick, but as you've probably noticed, there's almost never a reason to pay the huge cost on True Portal, when you can just use Linked Portal to go to a teleportation circle and then True Portal from there at a fraction of the price.

Secret Page though - I don't think it's salvagable. Since you can't designate other people to be able to read it, it does nothing that simply writing gibberish on a piece of paper and memorizing the message doesn't do.

You can combine phantom steed and shadow walk for a 100 square overland speed. In the 8 hours that will let you travel about 450 miles in 8 hours. Not 3e teleport, but hey:)

the most it can hold is 2000 pounds or 1 ton with an arcana check of 40 or more, not much of a fortress

on a seperate note:
leomund's secret chest for sacrifices:
go up to a humanoid and knock them unconsious or offer them treasure for entering this chest. then send him/her to a prepared ritual site and sacrifice him/her to an evil cause. could be a good story point (series of dissappearences and a cult growing in power)

This requires being a Magister for the standard action rituals. It makes a Army/Enemy Base/BBEG smasher.

Step 1: Cast Raise Land

Step 2: Cast Shift Mote to move land above target

Step 3: Move land down on top of enemies.

Probably not all that effective, but you could get a city of bad guys to surrender by threatening to smash them.

Tenser's prisoner transport:

1: summon tenser's disk
2: take a chunk out of the ground
3: put chunk on disk
4: put prisoner on disk
5: apply a magic circle to chunk of ground

the prisoner cannot get out and you have 23 hours to do any of the following:
bring him to a new location
parade him through town
place him in a dagerous location
prepare a dark ritual in which they are a sacrifice
or anything else you can think o
