Sure, as long as you figure his caster level is 2 and not 1. It'll cost twice as much as a normal CLW potion.

So what you're saying, then, is that the domain (+1 level of healing spells) does not increase the healing power of potions they create. Does it state this somewhere? I couldn't find it in my research.

The healing Domain allows you to cast all healing spells at +1 caster level.

The formula for cost of a potion is 50gp x spell level x caster level

Now, you need to be 3rd level to take brew potions. So, as a 3rd level cleric you cast healing spells at fourth level. That's the advantage, you get a boost of one caster level, but you then must pay for the potion at that increased cost.

It doesn't state that because <caster level> = <caster level>. Why do we need to state that explicitly?

A 3rd level cleric with Brew Potion and an appropriate domain ability for the spell can set the caster level at 1, 2, 3, or 4. Of course that will cost you 25, 50, 75, or 100 gp to make.

You are looking for a loophole, maybe you should justify it?

Wands & scrolls of Hold Person don't care about what your Wis score is or whether you have Spell Focus: Enchantment either; the DC is set by the spell level. Why should a domain ability be different?

If you chose to make the potion at caster level 2, yes. You set the caster level when you brew the potion. You may set a CLW potion at any caster level up to one higher than your current cleric level, although setting it higher than caster level 5 makes no sense, as the bonus only goes up to +5. You don't get a free caster level when you brew the potion, if that is what you are asking.
