Brits United!

I love how this thread is mainly Americans saying "I'm not British but I met one once and here are my thoughts"
Cute. First of all, who are you calling an American? :) I'm not offering my thoughts on anything. I did post on how my MIL pronounces scone and Worcestershire, because it was different from the way some folks pronounce it, according to this thread. Is this what you're referring to as 'I'm not British, but here are my thoughts'?

I did make a note to pass on the mansplaining I received on her behalf about how she should actually be speaking English though.

Simple in it is easy to determine what is which...

Or simple in who thinks they are better than the other?

If the latter, my partner has a worse one...they are both Welsh and German...

Do you know the difference between a headache and a migraine???
Why yes, the first is the symptom of having pain in your head, the second is a specific clinical condition characterised by one-sided headache, nausea/vomiting, aura (often flashing lights and other neurological symptoms preceding the migraine), and response to triptans. It’s common (in the UK at least) to refer to all severe headaches as migraines, but this is not technically correct.

For the record I’m British (English) but Korean by descent.
