Broadsides!

It seems I must save for another d20 book... ouch!

Yeah, and I'll have to update my comparative review to include this as well as Seas of Blood and Seafarer's Handbook - assuming my FLGS ever gets it in, that is.

One question I had - I was under the impression that this was a generic supplement, but something I read made me think it was specifically for Twin Crowns. I realize that one could easily adapt, but I was wondering how much was Twin Crowns specific and how much completely non-world-related?

Has anyone posted a review of "Broadsides!" anywhere yet? I'm anxiously awaiting any feedback the d20 public may have.

It's next on my list, along with another review I have been promising forever (I didn't forget about you, Brannon!) I had hoped to do it yesterday, but I am coming to learn that trying to do more than two reviews a day is futile.

Wow, this might be the first d20 book I manage to buy before the reviews are out! Here's hoping it came into my local gaming store today...

Broadsides is 95% generic, and 5% Twin Crowns only.

The only TC-specific stuff we have are a few of the sample encounters are set in the TC world, and we have 12 new rituals designed specifically for the TC ritual system... otherwise, the entire rest of the book is setting-neutral. None of the actual rules or systems rely on TC in any way.

Just a footnote - The ritual system in TC is easily dropped into any campaign as well (with a little work), and an upcoming release from LI is going to do that little amount of work for you...

Keep your eyes open for our next press release.

Here's hoping that Open Game Exchange or another source sends it to me for review! :D

Um, Donatello, you still listening?

I have a review written and ready to go up, but I need to make the product page. You have no cover images on your website. I don't suppose you could get me one. (I am not currently in a condition where I can use my scanner).

Oh, it appears I spoke hastily when I said my copy wasn't having the printing problem. :(

And, sorry for my ignorance, what is Open Game Exchange ?

No problem.

Reviews and other stuff. Each review has to write the review and then at the end, talk about how easy it was to determine OGL, how much there was, etc..., and then write out name of OGL, like a monster name, brief description and page where found.

Let me know what you think. I should have a Twin Crown review coming shortly.

That review has an image. Might be too small for your purposes though.

LI's page with an image of it there as well.

HOpe that helps.
