Heh... you're quite mad you know.

Well, I've got Levitate, Daylight, Flaming Sphere, Web, and Spectral Hand for second.

For third (although I can't cast any yet) I've gotten LB and Fly.

Here's my wish list for spells:

1st Level:

Shocking Grasp: For when I next meet a paladin ..
Protection from Good/Evil/Funny -- I need all the protection I can get.

2nd level:
See Invisibility -- People are always sneaking up on us.
Protection from Arrows -- I've been shot too many times and in too many places for this not to be useful.
Knock -- Considering our thief is about as handy with locks as a dwarf is with magic ... wait a minute.
Melf's Acid Arrow -- It burns! It burns!
Resist Elements -- for that Black Dragon you've got up your sleeve.
Bull's Strength -- To kick your a**
Detect Thoughts -- To know what the other PCs are thinking about me (like I don't already know that).

3rd level:
Dispel Magic -- If I ever find another magic-user, this might be useful. But since I haven't...
Gust of Wind -- the best spell in the entire spell list.
Haste -- Two spells a round = two times the destruction.
Leomund's Tiny Hut -- It's tiny, but so am I.
Protection from Elements -- Think I'd forgotten about the black dragon?
Vampiric Touch -- To use on the other PCs when I'm bored.

And also, a Staff of Power.

Where on earth did you get the idea there was a black dragon in your future? :D You assumer, you.

No mages? Gimme a break--still learning the 3E rules, here!

Yes, I am quite mad.

Allow me to remind you that our next game session will kick ass in all the ways that the kicking of ass is possible. Really. Think about all the implications of that statement for a second. 'Kay? Good.

You can't use Bull's Strength on me...I have a STR of 523 and Spell Mastery of everything in the book. Challenge the DM and you're toast. :) Or maybe I'll just sic Flame on you. Heh, heh, heh.

Seriously, though...good to know what's on your tiny little dwarf wish list. No, I mean tiny so that it fits into your wee hands as you chortle and huff in your diminutive Hut. Thanks, lil' guy.

I DID see that. And you KNOW I wanted to go to the library... but our other PCs wanted to go back and protect the tiny hamlet of Eveningstar.

Fools.

That's it... I'm killing everyone in the group, reanimating their bodies, and going back to that library.

Okay, well, I hope you're happy. You've changed Bronn from Neutral Good to Neutral to Neutral Evil.

Nooo!!!!!! Looted? Bastard.

DM's aren't that tough ... why, assuming you fail your save, you can be easily polymorphed into a duck. What's the DC for something like that for you?

Something about that line really appeals to me.

With your permission, Tom, I will be adding that to my sig (with proper attribution to you, of course).

Sure, Rel, permission granted!

I'll make you a deal: I'll read your story hour if you'll read mine (see sig for the link). I've got two readers as of the present date (not including my players...).
EDIT: I think the style of my story hour improves as it goes along; if you find the beginning slow please shift down a few episodes. I also used Forge of Fury (but only the Mountain Door)...I've just had a look at yours and I'm interested to see how your PCs handled that...Bronn Spellforger actually lost his life to the Great Ulfe (but since regained it)--sorry for reopening old wounds, Bronn.

Oh, and Bronn: you should know by now that when you force the DM to show his cards, they have changed by the time he hides them again. If I were you, I'd keep my guesses to myself (I mean, who knows how many varieties of chromatic dragon could be down there, eh? ;) ) None of your puny spells can harm me; I am more powerful than even the GODS! Mwhuahahahaha!

Thanks!

And deal! I'll be happy to give your story a read. I'll even post to let you know what I think.
